Maqadi is in beta. This guide describes how the app works for beta stores; details may still change before launch.
Pauses and cancellations
Customers can cancel at any time, without calling the store. Being easy to leave is what makes people comfortable subscribing in the first place.
How cancelling works
- The customer opens the customer portal and selects Cancel.
- If you have set up an offer, it is shown once (see below). The customer can accept it or continue.
- The customer can tell you why, in one tap. The reason is optional.
- The subscription ends: no further orders and no further charges. Orders already created are not affected.
You can also cancel a subscription yourself from the dashboard.
Offer a pause or a discount instead
Many customers want a break, not an exit. In Settings → Cancellation you can choose one offer to show:
- A pause of 1 to 3 months instead of cancelling.
- A one-time discount on the next order, with the percentage you set.
- No offer: the customer goes straight to the confirmation.
The offer is shown once, with a clear button to cancel anyway.
Cancellation reasons
The reasons customers give are collected in the dashboard, for example “too much stock at home” or “too expensive”, so you can see what to improve.
