Terms & Conditions

Who you are dealing with
This website, maqadi.dev, and the Maqadi app for online stores are operated by Yimello LLC, Sharjah Media City (Shams), Al Messaned, Al Bataeh, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Trade License 2430802.01 (“we”). These terms apply to stores that use Maqadi (“you”) and to visitors of this website.
The service
Maqadi lets a store sell its products as subscriptions: customers subscribe on the store's product page, repeat orders are created on schedule, customers manage their subscription in a customer portal, and the store follows everything in a dashboard. Payments are made through the store's own checkout on its e-commerce platform (Salla, and later Zid), either as an automatic card charge where the store's payment setup allows it, or through a payment link before each order.
Money never passes through Maqadi. Payments from your customers go to your store through your platform and your payment provider. We do not hold, collect or pay out funds, and we never receive or store card numbers.
The beta
Maqadi is currently offered as a beta to selected stores, free of charge. During the beta, features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may be interrupted for updates. We will tell beta stores at least 30 days before any charge starts, and no charge is made unless you choose a paid plan. Either side may end the beta participation at any time.
Plans and billing
After launch, Maqadi is offered in plans described on the pricing page, with a monthly price in Saudi riyals, excluding VAT. Plans are chosen, paid, upgraded and cancelled on the app's page in the platform's app store (Salla App Store, later Zid App Market), and are billed by the platform under its own billing terms. We do not take a commission on your orders.
Cancellation policy
You can cancel your plan at any time on the app's page in the platform's app store, or by removing the app. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, and no further charge is made. Cancelling or removing the app also stops all automatic charges and repeat orders that Maqadi manages for your store; orders already created stay in your store.
Refund policy
Because plan payments are collected by the platform, refunds are made by the platform under its own rules. We will support a full refund request when the plan was charged in error or twice for the same period, or when the service was unavailable for more than half of the paid period because of a fault on our side. Write to support@maqadi.dev with the platform's invoice and we will raise it with the platform. In other cases the current period is not refunded, and part-periods are not refunded.
Refunds of your customers' payments for their orders are made by your store, through your platform, as for any other order.
Your responsibilities towards your customers
- You decide what can be subscribed to, the prices, frequencies and discounts, and you are the seller of every order created by Maqadi.
- You make sure your subscription offer, your terms of sale and your handling of cancellations and refunds meet the law that applies to your store and your customers, including consumer protection and e-commerce rules.
- The tax invoice for each order is issued by your platform, as for any other order.
- You are the controller of your customers' personal data; we process it on your behalf, as described in the privacy notice for the store app and the data processing agreement.
Fair terms for subscribers
Maqadi does not charge interest or late fees to your customers and does not let a store add them through the app. A failed payment is simply tried again or the order waits. Before subscribing, the customer is shown the price, the frequency, the discount and how to pause or cancel, in Arabic.
Acceptable use
You may not use Maqadi for products your platform does not allow, to subscribe customers without their clear agreement, to send messages customers did not agree to receive, or to get around the limits of a plan. Access may be suspended in such cases; where we can, we will contact you first.
Country of domicile and governing law
United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile, and the governing law is the local law of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website or the service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
Sanctioned countries
We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
Age limit
Maqadi is a service for businesses. Persons under the age of 18 may not register a store with it.
Confidentiality
You are responsible for access to your store dashboard on the platform; actions taken in Maqadi from your dashboard are treated as yours. If you think someone else has had access, tell us and remove and reinstall the app to replace its access keys.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as available. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Service levels beyond these terms apply only where agreed in writing.
To the extent permitted by the laws of the UAE, the liability of Yimello LLC for any claim in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim. During the free beta, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost orders or lost profit.
Changes
We may update these terms. When they change, the date at the top changes with it, and stores using the app are told of material changes at least 30 days in advance.
