Maqadi is in beta. This guide describes how the app works for beta stores; details may still change before launch.
Overview
Maqadi turns your regular customers into subscribers. They choose how often they want a product, the order repeats on schedule, and they pause, skip or cancel by themselves. It works inside your Salla store today, and Zid is next.
How it works
- You choose what can be subscribed. Pick products, the delivery frequencies you offer (every week, two weeks or month) and a subscriber discount.
- The customer subscribes on the product page. A “Subscribe and save” option appears next to the normal purchase. The first order goes through your usual checkout.
- Each later order is created on time. Maqadi starts every renewal on schedule; your store's checkout charges the payment and creates the order and invoice as usual.
- The customer manages the subscription. A link in the reminder message opens the customer portal: pause, skip, swap, change quantity or cancel.
Orders created by Maqadi are normal store orders. They appear in your order list, use your shipping settings and get your usual invoice.
What Maqadi does not do
- It does not take payments itself and never sees card numbers. Money goes straight to your store through your own checkout. See payments.
- It does not replace your shipping. Subscription orders follow the same path as any other order. See shipping and fulfilment.
- It does not charge interest or late fees, ever.
