Maqadi is in beta. This guide describes how the app works for beta stores; details may still change before launch.
The customer portal
Customers manage their own subscription, so they don't have to message your store. They don't install anything and don't need a password.
How customers get in
- From the link in any Maqadi message (welcome, reminder, confirmation).
- Or by entering their phone number or email and the one-time code they receive.
What customers can do
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Skip the next order | The next order is not created; the one after it comes as planned. |
| Pause | No orders for 1, 2 or 3 months. The subscription resumes by itself. |
| Change the date | Move the next order earlier or later. |
| Swap the product | Choose another product from the same plan. |
| Change quantity or frequency | Applies from the next order. |
| Update the payment method | Opens your store's checkout to save another card. |
| Cancel | No further orders. See pauses and cancellations. |
A swap, a quantity change or a new frequency replaces the subscription behind the scenes, because on Salla the price and frequency are fixed when a subscription starts. The customer only sees that the change was saved.
What you control
- Which actions are available (for example, you can turn off date changes).
- How close to the order date changes are still allowed, for example until 2 days before.
- The offer shown when a customer starts to cancel.
Try the portal yourself in the live demo.
