Install Maqadi on Salla and Zid
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Maqadi is in beta and is not yet listed in the app stores. Beta stores install it with a private link we send them. To take part, join the beta.
Maqadi adds subscriptions and repeat orders to your Salla store, and later to Zid. It works inside your dashboard and on your own product pages. There is no separate account or password, and your customers install nothing.
Getting started
On Salla
- Open the Salla App Store (or, during the beta, the link we sent you), find Maqadi and click Install.
- Approve the permissions listed below.
- Open Maqadi from Apps in your Salla dashboard, choose the products customers can subscribe to, the frequencies and the subscriber discount.
- The “Subscribe and save” option appears on those product pages.
On Zid
Zid follows after Salla. If your store is on Zid, say so when you join the beta and we will tell you when it is ready.
What the app asks permission for
- Products (read): to show which products can be subscribed to, with their prices and options.
- Customers (read): the subscriber's name, phone number and email, to send reminders and the portal link.
- Orders (read and create): to create each repeat order on schedule, in your usual order list, and to follow its status.
- Subscriptions and recurring payments: to start the automatic charge through your checkout where your payment setup allows it, and to stop it when a customer cancels.
- Your storefront: to add the subscribe option to product pages.
Maqadi cannot see or store card numbers, and it never receives your customers' money. What it keeps is described in the privacy notice for the store app.
How customers pay
- Automatic card charge: the customer saves the card at the first order and each renewal is charged through your Salla checkout. Which payment methods can be charged this way depends on your store's payment setup; we confirm it for your store during the beta.
- Payment link: before each order the customer receives a link and pays with any method your store accepts.
There is no interest and there are no late fees. If a payment fails, Maqadi tries again on the following days and tells the customer; you decide whether the order waits or is skipped.
Plans
Free during the beta. From launch: Starter (free, up to 10 active subscribers), Pro (SAR 49 a month, up to 200) and Business (SAR 149 a month, unlimited), excluding VAT, billed by the platform. See pricing.
Removing the app
Remove Maqadi from your installed apps in the Salla dashboard. Its access to your store ends at once, automatic charges are stopped, and the data it kept is deleted as described in the privacy notice. Orders already created stay in your store.
